Franklinton Social District
What is the Franklinton Social District?
The Franklinton Social District, is a designated area where alcoholic beverages may be enjoyed responsibly in public spaces, in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 160A-205.4.
Operating Hours
Alcoholic beverages purchased from participating businesses within the FSD may be possessed and consumed only:
• Thursday – Saturday, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• During designated Town-sponsored special events (as announced)
Rules for Alcohol Consumption in the FSD
To ensure everyone's safety and compliance with state law, please follow these guidelines:

Alcohol must be in official FSD-marked containers provided by participating ABC-permitted establishments.

No outside alcohol is permitted in the Social District.

Do not carry alcoholic beverages outside the district boundaries.

Dispose of your FSD cup before exiting the district

You must be 21 or older to possess or consume alcoholic beverages.

Open containers are not permitted in vehicles.
District Boundaries
Boundary markers and signage identify the active area of the Social District. Always ensure you remain within these boundaries when consuming alcohol.
